Setup

Number and forwarding

Activation should prove the path works, not merely mark a checklist complete.

Does this replace my mobile service?
No. The intended setup gives you a local LineSquire number and optional conditional forwarding instructions for your existing carrier.
How do I know forwarding works?
Activation is intended to require a test inbound call and a successfully delivered summary. Creating an account alone does not count as activation.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
The service is designed around ordinary phone numbers and carrier forwarding rather than one handset maker. Exact carrier instructions will be published only after they are tested.

Calls

Identity, permission, and outcomes

The assistant's authority comes from the effective rule or approved plan—never from improvisation.

Will every caller hear an AI disclosure?
Yes. The assistant is designed to identify itself at the beginning of every connected call and never claim to be the subscriber.
What can an outbound task agree to?
Only what appears in the approved plan. Fees, sensitive information, material terms, and choices outside the limits pause for live approval or remain unresolved.
What happens when the other party refuses AI or transcription?
The assistant follows the configured no-consent path: continue without the declined processing only when technically and legally permitted, or offer a human callback and end clearly.

Data and billing

Records you can understand

Usage and retention should be explainable call by call.

Are calls recorded?
LineSquire does not create or store raw call recordings in this release. Consented transcripts and summaries have separate retention and deletion controls.
How long are transcripts kept?
A short, visible default is planned, with plan-specific history and user deletion controls. The exact launch default is still under review.
What happens when I use my minutes?
An active call can finish, new paid calls pause, and the account shows remaining usage and top-up choices. You can opt into a low-balance email, then approve each purchase through Creem's hosted checkout; unattended charging is not supported.
